The Cabot Trail Hostel has accommodations for eighteen people, in co-ed dorm style and private rooms. The main building has two rooms, one private room and a small co-ed dorm room which sleeps four people. We also have a co-ed bunk house that sleeps ten people. Three washrooms are available for your convenience. The two washrooms in the main building have shower stalls and the bunk house washroom has a bathtub/shower combination. All beds have clean, fresh linen, which is included in your price.

The hostel has two comfortable common areas, with lots of seating to sit and relax after an adventurous day on the cabot Trail. The hostel has two fully equipped kitchens that are accessible to all guests. We also have a BBQ area on one of our two large outside decks. There is a payphone on our front deck and lots of room for parking on the hostel grounds. We also offer free satellite tv and free WI-FI for customers with their own computer.

Within walking distance of the hostel, Pleasant Bay has a small general store/post office with a cash machine, several restaurants, gift shops, whale watching, beaches, a museum and a laundromat. Gas stations, banks, supermarket, etc. are located in Cheticamp (40 minutes from hostel) and Ingonish (approx 1 hour 30 minutes from hostel). This means if you come clockwise or counter clockwise around the Cabot Trail you will be able to get all the necessities before continuing to the hostel.
